Expantion Tank
The expansion tank serves to accommodate the expansion of the heating fluid, remove the air trapped in the installation and prevent capitation in the circulation pump.
Circulasi pump
The circulation pump functions to drain the heating fluid in the installation. The size and capacity of the pump is adjusted to the required capacity.
The pump capacity determines the shape of the heating fluid flow in the coil. The flow in the thermal must be turbolent, this is useful to avoid damage to the heating fluid and coil in the hotwater boiler.
The circulation pump that we use uses the KSB brand and can operate up to a temperature of 200 deg C.

•The entire installation must be filled with liquid so that the level control on the expansion tank.
The circulation pump will drain the heating fluid from the expansion tank to the body of the hot water boiler then transferred to the porcelain and back again to the expansion tank.
After the liquid circulation flow is stable, the burner will light up and burn the coil inside the coil heater body so that the heating fluid becomes hot and the heat is flowed to the tanker hatch process.
After the desired temperature is reached for example 50 deg C, the burner will automatically turn off and will turn on again after the temperature has decreased (eg the minimum setpoint temperature of 35 deg C the burner will automatically light up)
From the results of calculations that we have done on the Permata Sukses tanker, the thermal oil boiler capacity is 200.000kcal/h. Hot water system circulating hot liquids at a water pump flow rate of 100 m3/hour (30 HP motor power) to heat Crude oil / CPO with a capacity of 5,000,000 tons with a set point temperature of 35 deg C, loading 50 deg C, takes approximately 4 days/ 96 hours. (travel route for Pertamina Plaju Palembang to Pertamina Pontianak.
