Thermal IDM is a thermal power plant using oil as a heating medium. Thermal coils can be operated up to a temperature of 350 C with a very low pressure (less than 5 bar), compared to using a steam boiler with the same operating temperature, the pressure required exceeds 70 to 80 bar.

IDM Thermal is designed with multi tubular consentric curls, vertical execution (standing position) and Horizontal execution (sleeping position). The multi tubular curls make the heat transfer in the loop very balanced and perfect, thus guaranteeing to avoid the risk of burning taping oil which can cause scale.
The additional surface of the ignition chamber is wider to avoid programming interface tongues that can damage the surface of the loops.
Does not require a water treatment plant and does not require substance dosing in operation, so it is more efficient in operation.
The use of mineral oil as an exchange medium does not cause deposits of dirt, scale, is not corrosive and is stable at operating temperatures.

Thermal IDM Construction

The taland warm body is the core of the oil warmer. The inside is made of a multi helical curl system and at the ends of the loop are united in two headers as the inlet and outlet of the hot oil.
The IDM Thermal curl construction is made using an international standard heater pipe that is rolled with a pipe twisting machine without the use of heating so that it does not damage the chemical composition of the pipe material.
On the outside of the Thermal IDM body, it is insulated using rockwool coated with a stainless steel plate to increase efficiency and coated with a plate as a wall on the outside.
IDM Thermal is equipped with a control board that is useful for making it easier for administrators to operate IDM Thermal.
Expantion Tank is a combination of Deaerator tank, cushion tank and Expantion tank. With the unique combination of these three tanks, the topmost layer of oil in contact with the air is always cooler so the chances of oil oxidation are greatly reduced.
The function of the expansion tank is to accommodate the expansion of the heating fluid, remove the trapped air in the installation and prevent capitation in the circulation pump.

Oil Pump

The circulation pump functions to drain the heating fluid in the installation. The size and capacity of the pump is adjusted to the warm IDM plan.
The pump capacity determines the shape of the heating fluid flow in the curl. The flow in the warm IDM must be turbolent, this is useful to avoid damage to the heating fluid and curl in the warm IDM body.The circulation pump can operate up to temperatures of 350 oC.

 

Board Control

The control board is the center of the Thermal IDM controller. On this board there are several switches and lights to operate the burner and circulation pump automatically.
On the control board there are also instruments and pointers that function to manage, monitor and control IDM warm.

How IDM Thermal Oil Heater Works
The entire installation must be filled with heating fluid up to the control level in the expansion tank.
The circulation pump will drain the heating fluid from the expansion tank to the warm taland body, then process it and return to the expansion tank.
After the heating fluid circulation flow is stable, the burner will light up and burn the loop in the warm taland body so that the heating fluid becomes hot and the heat is flowed into the process.
After the desired temperature is reached, the burner will automatically turn off and will turn on again after the temperature drops
